Town Center Animal Hospital is proud to announce that we have 3 of our doctors nominated for Best Vet in Summerlin.
Dr. Cade Lavengco, DVM
(Louisiana State University)
Dr. Lavengco was born and raised in Louisiana. Staying true to the state, he attended Louisiana State University to get his Bachelor’s degree and Veterinary Medicine Degree. His interest in Veterinary Medicine started at age 12 when he chose to shadow a local veterinarian for a week. After that he was hooked Starting in the kennels he worked his way up through the ranks to finally achieve his goal of caring for small animals. His hobbies include watching LSU football on the weekends and anything outdoors.
Dr. Leslie Stewart, DVM
(Colorado State University)
Dr. Stewart has lived in Las Vegas since 1991 after her father’s retirement from the Air Force. Although she enjoyed living in various states and countries, she is proud to call Las Vegas her permanent home. She is a 2001 UNLV alum and a 2006 graduate of Colorado State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests are in small animal Internal Medicine, Dentistry and practice management.
Dr. Stewart has worked within our group of hospitals since 1996. She started as a receptionist, then became a Licensed Veterinary Technician until leaving for veterinary school in 2002. She returned home after completing veterinary school and practiced at one of our sister hospitals until she joined our team at Town Center Animal hospital in March 2013.
Dr. Stewart’s animal family includes her 3 small dogs: Mikey, a 10-year-old jovial blind Shihtzu; Rascal, a 14-year-old Dachshund who is the “baby” of the family and Birdie, a 2-year-old spunky female Terrier-Chihuahua mix who is the eyes and ears for the group!
In her spare time, she loves to spend as much of it as possible with her son, close family and friends. You can often catch her and her son at the local parks around town, biking, dining at Thai restaurants and frequenting the Spring’s Preserve. She loves hiking, traveling, especially abroad and to historical sites, dining out (especially Thai food!) and visiting museums.
Dr. Charlotte Pulliam, DVM
Dr. Charlotte Pulliam joined Town Center Animal Hospital in July 2013. She was born and raised in Oakland, CA, and has always had a passion for animals and learning, and decided at a young age that being a veterinarian was the only way to go. She quickly decided it was time for a change of scenery and headed south.
She quickly adjusted to southern living while obtaining her bachelors in animal and veterinary sciences in 2009, and Doctorate of Veterinary medicine in 2013 from Tuskegee University. Her veterinary specialty interests include internal medicine and ophthalmology. She hopes to one-day volunteer veterinary care in developing countries.
She has a 7 year old blue chihuahua, named none other than Blue , who can usually be found in her shadow. In her free time, she can usually be found interior decorating somewhere, cooking, enjoying the outdoors or spending time with family (Blue included) and friends.
