    Dr. Matthew Brooks, MS, DVM(Colorado State University)

    Dr. Matthew Brooks opened Town Center Animal Hospital in October of 2008 with one mission. He wants to provide advanced veterinary care with old fashioned compassion and respect for his clients and patients. His commitment to veterinary medicine began when he worked for a small animal clinic and a zoo in his hometown of Tampa, FL. Since then, his interest in animal medicine has grown to include cattle and horses, but small animal practice is still where his passion lies.

    Dr. Brooks attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO. GO RAMS!!!! There, he earned a Bachelors in Biology, a Masters in Epidemiology, Biosecurity, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

    Dr. Brooks has lived in Las Vegas since 2004. His professional interests include minimally invasive surgery, clinical pathology, and preventative medicine.

    He is also committed to helping the abandoned animals of the valley by co-creating the Funny Bones Foundation & helping local Animal Rescue Groups.
    Dr. Ted Burghardt, MS, DVM(Colorado State University)

    Dr. Ted Burghardt has been ecstatic to be at Town Center Animal Hospital since he started in June 2009.

    Dr. Burghardt considers himself very fortunate to have the opportunity to be in Las Vegas working with his long-time friend, Dr. Brooks. Together they team up with the goal of promoting and providing clients with the highest possible level of animal care.

    Dr. Burghardt’s passion for learning about and helping animals began developing at a young age, and has been reinforced through a variety of unique experiences.

    After getting his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry in San Diego, Dr. Burghardt worked at Scripps Research Institute in Del Mar for two years in the immunology department. He then went abroad to volunteer at the Australia Zoo for 3 weeks where he was fortunate enough to meet the Crocodile Hunter.

    Dr. Burghardt then went back to school to obtain an MS Degree in Anatomy, and later graduated from Colorado State University Veterinary Medical Program. While being active in the student government during school at CSU, Dr. Burghardt still made time to go mountain biking, hiking and maintain his passion for competitive tennis.

    Although Dr. Burghardt focuses mainly on dogs and cats he also loves to see the scaly, squirmy and feathery friends as well. Town Center Animal Hospital is open and happy to see all kinds of exotics, excluding primates.
    Dr. Jill Cordeiro, DVM(Auburn University)

    Dr. Cordeiro joined Town Center Animal Hospital in June 2010. Since then, she has been providing compassionate and high quality medicine for each of her patients. Dr. Cordiero also appreciates the importance of excellent service and communication with her clients.

    Dr. Cordeiro first became interested in veterinary medicine in middle school. She confirmed her passion for the profession by working at veterinary clinics in her home town of Mobile, Alabama.

    Dr. Cordeiro attended Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. She earned her bachelor’s degree in zoology in 2007. Dr. Cordeiro then attended veterinary school at Auburn and graduated as a DVM in 2010.

    During her education, Dr. Cordeiro was active in her school’s music program and various service organizations. She also enjoyed cheering at the Auburn football games (War Eagle!).

    In her time off, Dr. Cordeiro enjoys hiking, traveling, Bikram yoga, and reading. She loves music and plays the piano and French horn. She has one dog, a ten year old mixed breed named Cassie.
    Dr. Sully M. Morales(Louisiana State University)

    Dr. Sully M. Morales joined Town Center Animal Hospital in June 2011. She is committed to providing the best quality care for her patients and the best service for her clients.

    Dr. Morales' love for animals started at a very young age, while growing up in Puerto Rico. Dr. Morales attended the University of Puerto Rico, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. She attended veterinary school at Louisiana State University and is an avid Tigers fan. Geaux Tigers!

    Dr. Morales also participated in her school's Wildlife and Raptor Rehabilitation Program as well as her Shelter Club.

    In her time off, Dr. Morales enjoys hiking, pilates, knitting, and beading. She has one dog, Dash, a one year old Dashshund.
